Lynn was born in Liverpool and trained as a printmaker/photographer. She taught Art and Design in Liverpool and the West Midlands for over 35 years, 19 of those with Paul Hipkiss in Birmingham. The Black Country has been her home for 35 years.

She specialises in photo-silk screen printing. Her work ranges from collaged prints and distressed images, including angels and monumental masonry, to modern urban geometric designs. Her interest in buildings stems from her early photographic work recording the City of Liverpool during the 70s, when whole areas were demolished almost overnight.

Her printed work reflects places she has visited and is based on her own extensive photographic portfolio.
