Sylvie Dattas RBSA

Sylvie Dattas was born in Paris and came to England as a child in the 1950’s.

She trained in Fine Art at Bournville School of Art and at Birmingham Polytechnic.

Sylvie works mainly in oils and pastels. Her natural subject matter is landscape with a special interest in trees and foliage. She is also drawn to the intangible qualities of twilight reflecting it’s exciting and absorbing qualities. This invites the viewer to dream or meditate, sharing in the inherent oneness of al
