Hazel Astling ARBSA

Hazel has always enjoyed art but followed a scientific pathway to a BSc in Zoology. This developed her observational skill and attention to detail which is reflected in her work

Hazel works mainly in watercolour and pastel and prefers to work directly from life. She enjoys the process of composing a picture and producing a still life in a more abstract way to provoke questions and interest. 

Hazel exhibits regularly at the RBSA and other venues in the West Midlands.
