Hannah Northam

Hannah Northam RBSA

Hannah is a British artist whose sculptural works explore the relationship between the truth in natural forms and the human figure.  Whether it’s carving in stone and plaster or modelling in clay and wax, Hannah moulds and casts her own work in bronze, resin and other materials.

Her commissions express a diversity of styles and range in scale from small works and life size portrait busts to larger outdoor sculptures.  She also undertakes replica and restoration projects of classical and historical pieces, including the impressive 2.10m bronze ’Diana the Huntress’ for the Earl of Harrowby, Staffordshire and renovation carving work for the John Soane Museum, London.

Her recent commissions include the first ever portrait busts of celebrated landscape artists Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, along with his successor Humphry Repton.

She welcomes commission enquiries whether portraiture or special one-off creations for the home, garden or workplace.
