Andrew Tromans

Andrew is a painter and print maker working in the industrial West Midlands and rural central France. Much of his influence is drawn from his surroundings where his subjects move between grimy blacksmith shops, factories and canals to sun drenched fields of sunflowers and sweetcorn.

His recent printmaking is centred on relief lino work and drypoint. His painting revolves around enjoying creamy oils and exploring mark making. He has exhibited at RBSA Open Exhibitions in 2015, 2016, and 2018
and the Prize Open in 2018.
He had a solo exhibition at the Art Yard in 2016.
