Cristina Celestini

Cristina Celestini RBSA

Cristina Celestini has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. She took her first steps as an artist copying from the Masters in churches and squares in her native Rome.

Following travels in South America, she continued to experiment with her art when she moved to the UK. In stolen moments between her career and her family, Cristina has grabbed any opportunity to draw, sketch and paint, learning  all the time and finding her voice.

Cristina’s work is inspired by nature, the passage of time, the nature of memory and the resilience of the human spirit. Cristina feels equally at home working on figurative or abstract pieces and she has worked on many commissions with complex briefs. Her pieces have been shown in the Mall Galleries in London.
